N-Vision Optics is looking for a qualified candidate to fill a full- or part-time position.

Responsibilities of the Opto-Mechanical Technician will include fabrication, quality control, performance characterization and testing of night vision and thermal imaging systems in small and medium quantities.  The technician will also support engineers in the development and fabrication of new products in prototypes to pilot quantities.  Additional responsibilities will include incoming and outgoing quality inspection, as well as some packaging, shipping, and receiving duties.

Experience/Requirements:

•  Successful candidate must have a technical degree related to optics, electronics, or mechanics and three years of experience in production or mixed development and production environments.   Candidate must be willing and enjoy work in small company atmosphere.

• Successful candidate will be experienced and proficient in optical and mechanical systems assembly, soldering, micro-fabrication, and testing.

Additional Information:

Pay rate is commensurate with education, experience, and skills.
